General Terms and Conditions of Sale
The Marina is a private home offering shared living space for short, medium or long periods. There are other tenants under the same roof. That's why we invite you to take advantage of all the living spaces at your disposal, in a friendly atmosphere that respects everyone's privacy.
The rooms made available to our guests are checked, functional and in good condition. Guests are invited to report any shortcomings to us immediately.
Context
The premises are rented as a temporary dwelling and for pleasure, excluding all professional, commercial or craft activities.
Arrivals and departures
Arrival and departure times are subject to agreement prior to your arrival. In general, arrivals are from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm and departures before 11:00 am, but we can adapt to your needs and availability. However, we advise you to respect the pre-registered end-of-lease departure time for electronic locks, otherwise you won't be able to return to La Marina.
Inventory
Each room is rented furnished with 1 comforter with cover, 2 pillows with cover, 1 undersheet, 1 fitted sheet, 3 cushions, 1 laundry basket, 1 power strip, 1 bedside extension lead, wardrobe with 4 white wooden hangers/person, 2 bedside lamps, 1 desk, 1 chair, 1 armchair, 1 bed runner,
1 bathroom foam pad, bath linen/person i.e. 1 large and 1 small towel + 1 face cloth.
All claims made more than 48 hours after taking possession of the premises will not be accepted. After this time, the rented property will be considered free of damage and functional on the tenant's arrival. Your deposit is engaged.
Access to rooms
The customer may not bring into the room third parties not known to the owner of the rented room, unless authorized by the latter. Similarly, the customer may not rent a room for more people than the maximum capacity of the room.
Invitations
The accommodation may under no circumstances be used, even partially, by third parties, whether individuals or legal entities, without the written agreement of the owner. Any breach of this last paragraph may result in immediate termination of the contract without compensation.
Respecting the rest of other guests
The rooms are places of rest and are therefore quiet. Please ensure the well-being of your neighbors by using the lounge for heated discussions on the telephone or watching noisy films.
Noise, even during the day, is forbidden.
To respect the rest of other guests, please do not slam doors or make excessive noise, especially between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. Neighborhood noise caused by a person's behavior may lead the owner to ask the guest to leave the establishment, without the need for acoustic measurements, if the noise is such as to disturb the peace and quiet of guests (art. R.1334-30 and R.1334-31 of the French Public Health Code). A guest room is a place of rest. All commercial activities are strictly forbidden.
For rentals of more than one week, medium or long term:
Bath linen: the used bath linen is washed every week. The tenant can, before 6pm on Friday, leave his basket in the hall so that the housekeeper can exchange it with clean bath linen.
Bed linen: At the end of the month, the housekeeper puts a sign on the door handle to let you know when she will be cleaning the bed linen.

Common facilities
Refrigerators
A 25×25 tray personalized with the name of each room is used to specify your shelf in refrigerator A or B.
Please use airtight boxes or cling film for foods with odors that may cause discomfort.
Kitchen
La Marina's kitchen and its electrical equipment are at your disposal for preparing and eating your meals. After each meal, you are asked to clean the worktops and put away the drained dishes, out of respect for the next user.
For reasons of hygiene, cooking and eating are not permitted in the rooms.
Nevertheless, we are committed to your comfort and the conviviality of our rooms. We allow drinks in the rooms. To avoid any damage for which you could be held responsible, it is essential that you use a tray and only use the desk area for this purpose. Red trays are available in the kitchen for this purpose.
WC
The left-hand tap has priority because it uses the rainwater recovery system. If the tank is empty in summer, you can open the right-hand tap, which is supplied with mains water.
Laundry
Personal laundry is not permitted in the room. A launderette is located a few meters from La Marina.
Keys
Keys must not leave the premises, but must be deposited in the key boxes each time they leave.
Printer available
In the lounge you can use the copier/printer for a reasonable number of prints, not exceeding 15 per day. If you need more, we kindly ask you to purchase your own paper and to refill the paper tray.
Internet connection
When using La Marina's Internet connection, the Hirer undertakes to comply with the laws on downloading and consulting websites. In the event of a request from the competent authorities, the owner will provide the contact details of the tenant who has benefited from the said connection.
Beeper and gate
A beeper is issued only to tenants with a vehicle, subject to prior written approval by the owner. Access and egress through the gate is only permitted for vehicle owners; other tenants must use the main entrance door.
Wallbox user rate
A charge of 10 euros per rental day will be applied for the availability of the recharging system.
Household waste
Three garbage cans are located near the gate. They are available for your waste. The yellow garbage can is for recycled packaging: cardboard, plastic, metal, paper and newspapers. The blue bin is for bagged waste. The green bin is for glass bottles and jars.
Responsibilities
We accept no responsibility for your luggage or items left in communal and/or public areas.
Smokers
Smoking is strictly prohibited in public areas. The entire establishment, including the rooms, is therefore non-smoking and "vaporette"-free
For our smoking guests: you may smoke in the outdoor areas (garden, parking lot). In case of bad weather, you can take shelter under the awning at the entrance. An ashtray is at your disposal. Please make sure you leave the area clean and do not disturb the other occupants.
In accordance with decree no. 2006-1386 of November 15, 2006 laying down the conditions for implementing the ban on smoking in places designated for collective use, smoking in the house exposes you to an additional charge of €50/day or to legal proceedings. Any accidental activation of the fire alarm due to non-compliance with this provision will be billed at €100 to cover the cost of restarting the fire safety system.
Pets
For everyone's comfort and peace of mind, we regret that we are unable to accommodate pets in our rooms.
Degradation
The customer must use the rented property with due care and respect for the premises and the decoration of the room. In the event of a problem, the customer will be held responsible. In the event of damage, La Marina reserves the right to invoice the customer for the cost of repair or replacement. The same applies to any infringement discovered after the customer's departure. Upon departure, the customer is forbidden to take any item belonging to La Marina.
Complaints
Any complaints about the quality of the services provided must be submitted to the owner as soon as possible.
Forgotten items
Items left behind or abandoned may be sold under the conditions laid down in the law of March 31, 1896.
Disputes
The owner reserves the absolute right to terminate, without notice or compensation, any contract whose object or cause proves to be incompatible with the purpose of the premises.
The owner is exonerated from all responsibility in the partial or total execution of the contract resulting from a fortuitous event caused by a third party or an act of God (bad weather, natural disasters, fire, water damage, other disasters or serious prohibitions, attacks, administrative closure...). All complaints relating to a stay, duly substantiated, must be addressed to the owner.
Eco-tourism: The owners of the Résidence LA MARINA are sensitive to the need to protect our planet, and wish to contribute to environmental protection by minimizing the footprint of the operation of its facilities.
Simple, unobtrusive measures can go a long way.
We are therefore counting on your cooperation to:
- avoid leaving the lights on unnecessarily,
- avoid leaving the air conditioning on unnecessarily.
- do not leave the water running and moderate the flow when showering.
- avoid using all the towels provided if you don't really need them.
Modification - cancellation of reservation :
The reservation of a room implies the acceptance of the General Conditions set out below in their entirety.
Absence of right of withdrawal: For reservations made by mail, telephone or internet, the tenant does not benefit from the withdrawal period, and this in accordance with Article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code relating to the provision of accommodation services provided on a date or according to a specific period.
Booking conditions:
All bookings must be guaranteed by credit card or full payment.
Your booking cannot be changed. However, you can contact us to see if we can change the dates up to 72 hours before your scheduled arrival.
Cancellation by the customer:
- Cancellation up to and including the 21st day (3 weeks) before the arrival date* : 30% of the total amount of the stay will be retained.
- cancellation between the 20th and the 8th day inclusive before the date of arrival*: 50% of the amount of the services directly linked to the stay will be retained
- Cancellation between the 7th and 3rd day inclusive before the arrival date*: 75% of the total amount of the stay will be retained.
- cancellation from the 3rd day and the day of arrival initially planned* in the contract or no show: no refund will be made.
*The notice period is calculated from the day of arrival at 3:00 p.m. minus Stripe transaction fees.
In case of long stays, we recommend you to take out a cancellation insurance
Insurance:
The customer certifies that he is covered by civil liability insurance.
Long-term rental (from 1 month renewal)
Notice of departure: 30 days' notice of departure must be given by registered mail or e-mail with acknowledgement of receipt from the lessor.
Failing this, the rent for the coming month is due, given the extent of the reservation slots blocked by the lessee.
Acceptance of rules
La Marina's house rules apply to all bookings. Any stay implies acceptance of the special conditions and house rules.

In general, arrivals are from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm and departures before 11:00 am, but we can adapt according to our availabilities and your requirements. It is however advised to respect the departure time of end of lease pre-recorded for the electronic locks under penalty of not being able to return to La Marina.

All complaints occurring more than 48 hours after the entry in enjoyment of the places could not be admitted. After this period, the rented goods will be considered as free of damage and functional at the entrance of the tenant. Your deposit is engaged.

The client may not introduce into the room third parties not known to the owner of the rented room, unless authorized by the latter. Likewise, the client may not rent a room for a number of people greater than the maximum capacity of the room.
Invitations
The accommodation may not be used, even partially, by third parties, natural or legal persons, except with the written agreement of the owner. Any infringement of this last paragraph could lead to the immediate termination of the contract without compensation.
Respect for the rest of other guests
The rooms are places of rest and therefore quiet. Please take care of the well-being of your neighbors by using the living room for passionate discussions on the phone or watching noisy movies.
Noise, even during the day, is forbidden.
For the respect of the rest of the other guests, please do not slam the doors or make too much noise, especially between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. Any neighborhood noise related to a person's behavior may lead the owner to ask the client to leave the establishment without the need to take acoustic measurements, as long as the noise generated is likely to affect the peace and quiet of the clientele (art. R.1334-30 and R.1334-31 of the Public Health Code). A guest room is a place of rest. Any trade is strictly forbidden.
For rentals of more than one week, medium or long term:
Bath linen: the used bath linen is washed every week. The tenant can, before 6pm on Friday, leave his basket in the hall so that the housekeeper can exchange it with clean bath linen.
Bed linen: At the end of the month, the housekeeper puts a sign on the door handle to let you know when she will be cleaning the bed linen.

In order to avoid any damage for which you would be held responsible, it is essential to use a tray and to use only the desk area for this purpose. You will find red trays in the kitchen for this purpose.
WC
The left tap has priority because it uses the rainwater recovery system. In case of empty tank in summer period you can open the right tap supplied with city water.
Laundry
It is forbidden to do personal laundry in the room. A laundromat is located a few meters from La Marina.
Keys
Keys must not leave the facility but must be deposited in the key boxes at each exit.
Printer available
In the lounge you can use the copier/printer for a reasonable number of prints not exceeding 15 units per day. If you need more, we kindly ask you to buy your own paper and to refill the paper tray.
Internet connection
In case of use of the internet connection of La Marina, the tenant commits himself to respect the laws concerning downloads and consultation of sites. In case of request from the competent authorities, the owner will transmit the coordinates of the tenant having benefited from the aforementioned connection.
Beeper and gate
A beeper is given only to tenants with a vehicle, after prior acceptance by the owner. Access and exit through the gate is only allowed for vehicle owners, other tenants must use the main entrance door.

A fee of 10 euros per day of rental will be applied for the availability of the charging system.

In accordance with the decree n°2006-1386 of November 15, 2006 fixing the conditions of application of the prohibition of smoking in the places assigned to a collective use, to smoke in the house exposes you to an additional invoicing of 50 €/day or to legal proceedings. Any untimely triggering of the fire alarm for non-compliance with this provision will be charged 100 € for the cost of restoring the fire safety system.
Animals
For the comfort and tranquility of all, we regret that we cannot accommodate animals in the rooms.
Degradation
The client must use the rented property in a responsible manner and respect the premises as well as the decoration of his room. In case of problem, the customer will have to engage his civil responsibility. In case of damage, La Marina reserves the right to charge the customer the cost of repair or replacement. It is the same for any infraction noted after the departure of the customer. At the time of departure, it is forbidden for the client to take any object whatsoever belonging to La Marina.
Complaints
Any complaint about the quality of the services provided must be presented to the owner as soon as possible.
Forgotten business
Objects left behind or abandoned may be sold under the conditions provided for in the law of 31 March 1896.
Disputes
The owner reserves the absolute right to terminate, without notice or compensation, any contract whose object or cause would be incompatible with the destination of the premises.
The owner is exonerated from any responsibility in the partial or total execution of the contract resulting from a fortuitous event due to a third party or a fact of force majeure (bad weather, natural disasters, fire, water damage, other disasters or serious prohibitions, attacks, administrative closure...). Any complaint relating to a stay duly argued must be addressed to the owner.
Eco-tourism: The owners of the Residence LA MARINA are sensitive to the safeguarding of our planet and wish to contribute to the protection of the environment by minimizing the footprint of the operation of its structure of reception.
Simple and not very restrictive measures can make a lot.
We count on your collaboration to:
- avoid leaving the lights on unnecessarily,
