If your budget is less than 60€ per night, you can look first at hotels located in commercial areas, such as in the ZI Les Garennes Les Mureaux.
For example, the Welcomotel, also called simply Hotel Les Mureaux, and theHotel class eco 78 are in the heart of this industrial and commercial area. It is easy to access, close to the main road D14.
A little further south, in Bouafle, you have the Fasthotel or the Alpha Hôtel, right next to the A13 highway. The A13 is the 6-lane highway that connects Paris to Rouen. Depending on your itinerary before or after your stay, it can be interesting for you to be really close to the interchange.

From 65€ depending on the period, you can enjoy the Typhas, Escale, Goélette or Frégate rooms, in my alternative hotel in the Marina. You will be well away from the industrial zones, in the historical center of Les Mureaux. All the shops are nearby, including a bakery only 40 meters away for hot croissants in the morning. You can reach all the main roads in less than 10 minutes by car.
Near the Chambres de la Marina, you can walk near the Seine and in the Molière park. The large park of the French Vexin is 20 minutes away by car. If you wish to visit the Château de Versailles, count on 30 minutes drive. And then the proximity of shops and restaurants that I will gladly recommend to you!
The criterion ' comfort ' of the hotels in Mureaux 78 : sharing my personal vision
The 'comfort' criterion is the most complicated to define for us hoteliers and tourist accommodation providers. Not everyone has the same degree of requirement. Nor do they have the same priorities in their habits or in their minds.
So I share with you here a very personal vision. According to me, here are the 5 criteria of comfort that I think essential for a stay in a hotel:
- Cleanliness of rooms, bathrooms and common areas
- Quality of the bedding and linen provided
- Efficient WIFI connection service at no extra charge
- Proximity to transportation or main roads with free parking
- Peace, charm and space!
These are my comfort criteria for the 7 rooms and common areas of La Marina. In addition, I have taken care of the decoration for a maximum of well-being and even a change of scenery! The layout is inspired by both my Breton origins and the environment of Les Mureaux. Indeed, the river Seine and the port of Mureaux are 5 minutes away from the Rooms of the Marina.
Whether it's a tourist trip or a business trip to Les Mureaux, it's important to rest in a beautiful environment! 🙂
Hotel Les Mureaux : unusual observations

I transformed this large house into an unusual hotel in 2019. I wanted to create a cosy and friendly space. I find traditional hotels often too impersonal. And aparthotels remain very lonely...
I preferred to establish the spirit of a bed and breakfast while leaving freedom and independence to my guests. As a result, the kitchen, living room and garden are places to meet and discuss as in a traditional bed and breakfast.
Everyone is free to organize and share as they wish. The spacious rooms are a plus for those who want peace and quiet above all.
Hotel du Fort, Meulan-en-Yvelines 78
TheHotel du Fort is located on an island in the Seine, opposite Les Mureaux. The operation of this hotel is rather traditional.
With only 17 rooms, it is an establishment which inspires me the conviviality. Breakfast is possible on the spot but no catering in this establishment.

Hotel restaurant La Chaumière, les Mureaux-Flins 78
La Chaumière is the former Comfort Hotel. A historic hotel in the commune of Les Mureaux-Flins. The establishment exists since 1984! There is still a possibility to have people, because at least 40 rooms. The restaurant is on the spot and welcomes up to 50 persons.
La Chaumière is located less than 10 minutes away from La Marina. In case of a seminar at La Chaumière and if there is a lack of space, you can therefore complete the accommodation with La Marina.

Les Tourelles de Thun, Meulan-en-Yvelines 78
I'm going out of the purely 'Hotel Les Mureaux' frame because the Tourelles de Thun are a very beautiful place. Only the river Seine separates Les Mureaux from Meulan en Yvelines. It is just next door.
The owners of the Tourelles de Thun offer a 'room and board' in a charming house. The architecture is already fascinating in pictures.
